Simon and Schuster Video
A few months back I went down to the Simon & Schuster offices to record an interview for their newest website, in which they highlight their authors talking about all kinds of different topics. Here is little chunk of it, in which I talk about writer’s block. (The entire interview will be up - I’m told - at the end of February.)

Enjoy - and cheers!

Fall Into Winter
Fall is here!
Leaves falling from trees like rain falling from the sky
Colors that swarm you are like never seen before
Trees begin to have the dullness of Winter as they watch there last leave break off and hit the ground and begin to look depressed
Cheeks turn rosy red like apples on a tree
Frost flowing out of your mouth like waves in a ocean on a windy day
A drop hits your bright red nose and you look up and it begins to snow
That’s when you know Winter is here
The Wonders of Poetry
Words flowing out of your mouth as your hand is jotted around the paper
So many thoughts running around in you head and you think:
which one is the best?
which one will suceed?
As you sit there minute after minute just thinking for the big extravagant thought to come to you and then you get it
Your brain whispers write a poem about the process of making a good poem
Your hand begins to write confidentally beacause you know your poem will suceed!
Colors of Our World!
Colors,
Oh how they brighten our world!
The joy it provides
From an adult all the way down to a child
Colors,
Without them just think
dullness would cover the earth
joy would be evaporated out of you
colors,
How we love the gift you bare!
